Meet our Servants
Pastor Dave Coleman and his wife, Sylvia, were high school sweethearts in southern
California. They married during Dave's second year of Bible college.
Over the years, they have been privileged to minister together with some wonderful pastors: Garry Ansdell of Hosanna Chapel, Bellflower; Jeff Johnson of Calvary Chapel, Downey; and Jon Courson of Applegate Christian Fellowship in Jacksonville, Oregon.
In June 2002, they came to serve a struggling fellowship in Albany, Oregon. Their first Sunday, there were only 5 people in attendance. The second Sunday brought phenomenal results: 3 of them came back.
Six years later, we are now known as Maranatha Christian Fellowship. By God's grace, we have grown in size and faith, and in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We continue our weekly verse-by-verse study of the Scriptures, as well as actively pursuing global missionary endeavors.
Together, we look forward to many more years of ministry and growth here in Albany as we eagerly await our Blessed Hope, the rapture of the church!
